These measures significantly reduce transparency and limit international oversight at the most critical stages. Armin Mohammadi, from Balbanabad, Dehgolan district, Kurdistan province, has been arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location in the wake of a recent wave of arrests. In such circumstances, the risk of irreversible injustice is greatly heightened, particularly given ongoing concerns regarding due process, access to legal representation, and the use of coerced confessions. Public and timely international engagement is therefore essential.
